Biography

Habibat Abubakar YUSUF is a lecturer in the Department of Educational Management, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin since January 2014.  She is self-motivated and spirited with a good education background from the prestigious University of Ilorin, Nigeria and Universiti Utara Malaysia, Sintok. She is a lecturer whose passion for quality instructional delivery across all levels of education through her span of research interests led to her specialty in educational administration and leadership. While she grooms young intellectuals in becoming excellent teachers and school managers, she has watched many students grow and a number of them passed through her to have good understanding of necessary skills needed for school administration.  She has proven to be an intentional leader and educationist, fully committed to her goal to ensure a notable improvement in the quality of education within her sphere of influence.  Her diligence, consistency and work ethic has been her most outstanding strengths. She has attended conferences and participated in several workshops and training for skill development in her field of study both locally and internationally.  She has to her credit over twenty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. As a researcher, she belongs to reputable professional associations home and abroad. Her areas of research interest cover Secondary Education with special interests in administration, leadership, Curriculum Management and Quality Assurance Practices.
