MURTALA, Abdulyaqin Tukur (Ph.D.) is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Educational Management, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He has been a lecturer for two decades engaging in teaching, research and community services. He joined the service of University of Ilorin in 2011 and he has served in different committees and administrative positions both in the University and Kwara State Colleges of Education, Ilorin where he started his academic career in 2003. His area of research interest covers Economics of Education and Strategic Planning. He has successfully supervised many Masters Dissertations and he is a member of; the British Educational Leadership Management and Administration Society (BELMAS), Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management (CCEAM) and Nigerian Association for Educational Administration and Planning (NAEAP). He has to his credit 30 publications in Local, National and International Journals and Chapters in Books. Dr Murtala A. T. is also a certified International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES-Nigeria), Masters Trainer on Election polling and counting procedures. He speaks Yoruba, Hausa and English Languages fluently. He is married with children, and a native of Ilorin, Ilorin South Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria.
